For Racers,By Racers

The RPM Group is on a mission to revive and transform Palm Beach International Raceway (PBIR) into a world-class motorsports destination. With a deep passion for racing and a commitment to community impact, we aim to restore this historic venue to its former glory—offering a safe, thrilling, and professionally managed environment for racers, fans, and automotive enthusiasts.

Our vision is clear: bring back a dedicated motorsports complex to South Florida, support grassroots racing, enhance road safety by reducing illegal street racing, and foster economic growth through events, partnerships, and innovation.

TheTrack

Originally built in the early 1960s as a simple drag strip, Palm Beach International Raceway—formerly known as Moroso Motorsports Park—held a special place in the hearts of motorsports enthusiasts for decades. The facility evolved significantly over the years, experiencing both remarkable growth and a heartbreaking closure.

In 2008, a group of local investors acquired the track, injecting a reported $10 million into extensive renovations. These upgrades transformed the raceway into a premier motorsports complex, featuring a newly designed two-mile road course, a dedicated go-kart track, and a completely revamped drag strip. With these improvements, the raceway experienced a surge in popularity, attracting racers and spectators alike from 2008 through its peak years.

However, in its final years, the facility faced increasing challenges. Poor management, declining attendance, and a lack of advertising and sponsorships led to its gradual downfall. Despite its rich history and deep roots in the racing community, Palm Beach International Raceway hosted its final event on April 23, 2022, marking the end of an era.

While the track is now closed, its legacy lives on in the memories of those who raced, watched, and celebrated the sport within its gates.

TheVision

The future of Palm Beach International Raceway is in the hands of racers and enthusiasts from all walks of life. In the past, a disconnect existed between those who operated the track and those who used it. With the right leadership, financing, and management—alongside the support of local government and the racing community—we have the opportunity not only to reopen the track but to transform it into a world-class motorsports destination for generations to come.

Our strategy is built on several key pillars:

  • Securing both public and private funding to ensure long-term sustainability.
  • Prioritizing people over profit, preserving the track’s legacy for future generations.
  • Harnessing the power of social media, influencers, and industry leaders to promote the facility and a diverse range of events.
  • Providing a safe, controlled environment for racing, helping to curb illegal street racing and its negative impact on the community.
  • Creating new jobs, supporting local businesses, and driving economic growth for Palm Beach County, the City of Jupiter, and the surrounding areas.

Together, we can revive Palm Beach International Raceway and establish
it as a premier motorsports hub for years to come.
